Adam Lerner Tax and Accounting Solutions LLC (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit alernercpa.com(the “Site”) or submit an inquiry through our contact form.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Site, including when you submit an inquiry through our contact form. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, including our client portal, which are governed by their own policies.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you contact us through the Site, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Whether you own a business and your approximate income range
• Any message or inquiry you submit

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring website, pages viewed, and approximate location (city or region level). See Section 4 for details.

Information from third parties. We do not purchase personal information about you from third parties.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and schedule introductory calls
• Evaluate whether our services may be a good fit for your needs
• Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it
• Protect the Site against spam and abuse
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small text files stored on your device, to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the website that referred you, your general location (city or region level), and your browser and device type. This information is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

We do not use Google Analytics advertising features, Google Signals, or data sharing for advertising purposes. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording, or similar tracking technologies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work if you do.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, this website does not currently respond to them. You can still limit analytics tracking using the opt-out options above.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers that help us operate the Site and respond to inquiries (see Section 6), who may use the information only to provide services to us
• Legal requirements, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is needed to protect our rights, safety, or property
• Business transfers, if the Firm is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred to the successor

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website usage analytics. See Section 4 for details and opt-out options.
• Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC) — spam prevention on our contact form. reCAPTCHA analyzes browser and device signals to distinguish people from automated bots, and is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Resend (Resend, Inc.) — email delivery. Contact form submissions are delivered to us through this service.
• Client portal — our client portal is hosted by a third party and linked from the Site. Information you provide there is governed by the portal provider’s terms and privacy policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep information you submit through the contact form for as long as needed to respond to you, evaluate a potential engagement, and meet our legal and professional obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings we configure in Google Analytics. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information you submit through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or account numbers through the contact form.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your personal information
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying to an email or contacting us

10. State-Specific Rights

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction of your personal information; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Categories collected: identifiers and contact details you provide (such as name and email when you submit a form) and internet activity information collected through cookies and Google Analytics (described in Section 4).

Tracking disclosure: As described in Section 4, this website uses Google Analytics. We do not allow other third parties to collect personal information about your online activities across websites through this site.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
